Mr. Curtis is the Director of Client Relations at Capview Partners, with the specific responsibility of overseeing the Capview Exchange, LLC sales process. His background in product management, business development, and relationship management are paramount to making this unique solution successful. He has been active in the investment and financial planning industry since 1993.
Most recently, Mr. Curtis served at Behringer Harvard/Provasi Capital Partners in Addison, TX, where he was responsible for representing a platform of diversified investment strategies to financial advisors in support of National Accounts and Sales. He presented product information and market updates across all the offerings and collaborated with marketing and internal and external sales to develop effective and timely product and sales messaging. He initially joined the company in April 2012 as internal sales manager. In this capacity, he supervised a staff of business development consultants across a 15-territory distribution platform for three years.
Previously, Mr. Curtis was internal sales manager at Invesco Distributors, Inc. in Houston, TX, where he supervised teams of up to 23 internal wholesalers in building relationships with financial advisors in the wirehouse and bank channels (2008–2012). From 1995–2008, he served in various capacities with AIM Fund Services and AIM Distributors, rising to the rank of regional vice president at the firm’s office in Seattle, WA. During this period, he managed a three-state wholesaling territory in the Pacific Northwest. In 1993, Mr. Curtis began his career as an account executive with F. N. Wolf & Co. in Houston.
Mr. Curtis received a BBA in Accounting and Information Systems from Baylor University in Waco, TX. He has earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation and is a member of Toastmasters International. He currently resides in Plano, TX with his wife, Elizabeth, and son, Jordan.
